Card Decks 3.4.1

Card Decks is a compact utility application designed for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that provides users with customizable, multi-line, colored text cards organized into decks. This tool offers a straightforward approach to managing and utilizing various types of cards for diverse purposes.

One practical application of a card deck is capturing voting or estimation responses during meetings, such as in agile methodologies like Scrum or Extreme Programming. The pre-configured cards serve common scenarios, but users can extend and customize decks by adding new cards—such as specific estimation values like "Pi" or "?". This flexibility allows for tailored tools suited to specific workflows or preferences.

Furthermore, card decks can serve as visual reminders for session timing during conferences—such as alerting a speaker of remaining time—or as timers to track presentation durations. They also facilitate non-verbal communication, enabling users to express opinions, arguments, or sentiments simply through card selection. The shuffle feature enhances utility by enabling random task assignment or selection among team members or students.

Card Decks includes several pre-defined decks, including voting sets, colored indicators, numerical cards, time-based cards displaying remaining minutes, and timers. Users can create and customize additional decks through an integrated editor, with each card configurable for display duration—supporting personalized countdown timers with specific numbers, texts, or reminders. Pre-configured examples include timers for 15 and 60 minutes.

The application supports sharing functionality via email or messaging—allowing card decks to be exported as URLs or JSON documents—facilitating collaboration with colleagues or friends.
